One question we often get is along the lines of “How do I put these spur straps on my new spurs??”, “What side does the buckle go on?”, or  “Is there a right and left spur?”

Step 2: It is also it is also important to differentiate from the "left" and "right" spurs. Most spurs come with one longer branch and one shorter branch. The longer branch goes to the outside of your boot!

Step 3: Start threading the spur strap through the top of the outside branch almost till the end of the spur. Then thread through the bottom hole.

Step 4: Thread the end of the strap through the bottom of the inside branch leaving enough excess strap to put under your heel. Continue to thread tail of strap through the top of the inside branch.

Step 5: Put spurs on and adjust position to your liking! And then get to riding!
