- 9 Questions We're Frequently Asked About Ariat
A Little About The Brand
Ariat is a family-owned equestrian company, founded by Beth Cross in 1993. Cross grew up on a working horse farm in Pennsylvania, watching Secretariat compete. She says that “Secretariat’s big heart and competitive spirit were the motivations behind naming our company Ariat.”
Ariat is famous for its boots, which feature world-class design, materials, and workmanship, and are incredibly comfortable and durable. The company partners with top biomechanical research groups and testing labs to improve product performance. Ariat’s attention to detail doesn’t stop with their boots. The apparel team is continually innovating for style, fit, and comfort.
Why You’ll Love Ariat
Ariat’s products are designed to last you a lifetime of comfort and enjoyment. Beyond the high quality, style, and comfort of Ariat boots and apparel, customers love the brand itself, which clearly prioritizes important values like teamwork and respect. The company’s commitment to sustainability also marks it as unique. From its use of reclaimed algae in the soles of their Eco Ryders & Eco Cruiser shoes to the advanced sustainability processes used in their denim, Ariat leads the way in sustainability.
Popular Products
Ariat’s V Sport tall boots and Kinsley dress boots are continual customer favorites. The Devon Nitro paddock boots, comfortable for all-day wear, also receive praise. Ariat’s riding breeches, especially the Tri Factor breech, Heritage breech, and EOS tight, will provide supreme comfort while riding. And Ariat’s whimsical shirt styles, such as the Dapper Fox Long Sleeve Tee, always delight customers.
What Others Are Saying
“I feel like a ‘Consumer Report’ breech tester in search of the elusive white breech that is flattering, doesn't allow cellulite to be visible, is comfortable, stands up to wear and tear, and not over $400. This breech does exist!!!! I have traded in all my Ego, Cavello, Pikeur breeches for Ariat Tri-factor breeches and never going back.”
— Emily Marsh
“This coat is lovely! It's beautifully sewn with nice fabric and appointments and a high-quality, thick inner layer for warmth. It comes to the lower thigh, so it won't work for riding, but a trainer or coach might wear it during lessons or schooling students and stay quite toasty. This coat is far too nice to wear to the barn for chores or grooming, so I plan to wear it out and about and at shows after I'm done riding. I appreciate that Ariat makes pieces such as this one that refer to the equestrian lifestyle in such a classy way.”
