Honestly Quite Dissapointed
I purchased this bareback pad as an upgrade after researching and reading nothing but good reviews about the product. The website claims that "Balance, comfort, and security can all be yours in this bareback pad". Unfortunately, I felt none of these and actually felt unstable as I was constantly having to readjust my position. The seat material has a tacky, almost sticky feel to it, which sticks to my pants when I move into anything faster than a walk. The result is my being pulled too far to the back and side to side of the pad, hindering my ability to move fluidly with my horse. The one thing I did really like about this pad is that it stays in place well. Regardless, this is a huge bummer for me as unfortunately I will be resorting to my old bareback pad.
Bareback saddle Pad
This is the second bareback saddle I’ve purchased 2 bareback saddles at Farmhouse Tack. It’s been a pleasure to do business with you. I bought one last year for my granddaughter and this year for another Christmas present. Shipping was on time and the saddle is comfortable and durable. I’d like for the saddle to have a handle, so I used a curb strap and it works perfectly.
Thinline Bareback pad
Love this bareback pad! It fits my 16.3 (and plump!) horse well. He is really picky about his back, so I used a back on track dressage pad under the thinline. It didn't shift at all during our hack (basic walk trot canter). I felt comfortable without any slipping. Absolutely recommend to anyone who enjoys really feeling their horse well, but doesn't want to be entirely without some support!
Love this pad
Love riding in this pad. I have a shark for a horse and it definitely helps with his sound digging into me. Farm house was awesome, I originally ordered a black pad but they were out of stock so they reached out to me and asked if I wanted the brown instead. I’m not picky and actually now am glad I got the brown!!
