Field boots and dressage boots are designed specifically for the English riding disciplines. They fit over the calf and stop just below the knee.A small heel keeps the boots from slipping out of the stirrup irons. The right pair of tall riding boots give you confidence in your riding performance, keeping you comfortable and supplying the perfect amount of support and freedom of movement.

Dressage boots balance flexibility with support so you can perform your best. Field boots have laces at the ankle and often have a Spanish top (a cuff that comes up above the boot on the outside to elongate the leg.) Field boots are more flexible than dressage boots, allowing for a heels-down position and making them ideal for hunters, jumpers, and trail riders.
