We love that these boots offer a convenient way to provide cold or heat and compression therapy, all in one boot.  No machines, cables, or wires are required. Help keep injuries at bay and provide much-needed support to the hard-working horse or those with stiffness, soreness, or swelling.   

The Technical Stuff:

  • GelPak core adheres to the outer shell and retains intense heat or cold and stays pliable even out of the freezer to conform to the leg.
  • Outer shell features air compression pockets powered by a hand pump to ensure even temperature distribution. Air compression is optional and fully adjustable.
  • Durable hook and loop closures provide a secure fit and allow for easy on and off.

Cold Therapy Application Procedure 

1. Place GelPaks in the freezer for six hours before initial use. After use return to freezer immediately.

2. Lay GelPak flat and evenly disperse the gel before placing it in the corresponding (right or left) boot.

3. Place the uncompressed boot against the leg. Secure with Velcro® attachments. (Optional)

4. Attach the pump, turn the valve to the ‘On’ position, and pump to the desired level of compression. (8-12 pumps supplies approximately 35mm HG pressure).

5. Once the desired compression is reached, turn the valve to the ‘Off’ position and detach the tube.

6. To end therapy, turn the valve to the ‘On” position to deflate the boot before removing it from the leg.

Expedited Shipping Cut Off Is 12 p.m. EST.  Weekend delivery is not guaranteed on expedited orders due to courier geographic restrictions. If you require Saturday delivery, please call us and inquire if services are available in  your area. 

 
Orders qualifying for free shipping are sent regular ground and are not guaranteed for holiday delivery.

Return Policy

-You may return most new, unused & unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund.  Items must be returned to us in new condition, this includes the products original packaging. Custom pieces, treats, oral supplements & bits are not refundable. 

-A 15% restocking / open box fee will apply to all products returned with damaged or defaced manufacturer packaging. To avoid this fee, please put all returns or exchanges in appropriate packing materials such as a separate box or shipping bag. Items returned to us with shipping labels, tape, hand writing on the manufacturer's box will be automatically subject to the 15% open box / restocking fee. 

-Items qualifying for free shipping which are returned will have shipping costs deducted from the refund. 

-Shipping charges are non refundable.

-Items purchased from our Sale Room, or our Online Auction Site are ineligible for refunds.

-Sales are final on all custom items. 

-Refunds may take up to 30 business days after your return has been received to be processed. 

You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).

If you need to return an item, simply fill out the return paperwork sent with your purchase and ship it back to us with your contact information. If you are returning a high value item, we recommend insuring your package. to your account. Can't locate the return paperwork? No problem, simply email customerservice@farmhousetack.com, we will happily email you  a copy.  If you have an online account with us, you can also begin the return process from within your online order.  We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item.

Shipping

We can ship to virtually any address in the world. Note that there are restrictions on some products, and some products cannot be shipped to international destinations. You can choose from FedEx or USPS. Orders that qualify for free shipping will be sent USPS. Please note the cut off to ship 
orders via expedited services is 12:00 P.M. EST. 

When you place an order, we will estimate shipping and delivery dates for you based on the availability of your items and the shipping options you choose. Depending on the shipping provider you choose, shipping date estimates may appear on the shipping quotes page.

Please also note that the shipping rates for many items we sell are weight-based. The weight of any such item can be found on its detail page. To reflect the policies of the shipping companies we use, all weights will be rounded up to the next full pound.
